Michael has worked in tech for over 15 years and with Amazon since 2019, working across businesses to build out people strategies supporting the growth of the tech development centres in Canada. Prior to Amazon he led a global HR Business Partner team for realtor.com, a division of News Corp evolving HR to become data centric, building out analytics and workforce planning capability as well as leading the company through an acquisition that doubled its population. Prior to his move to tech Michael worked in consulting, helping build the People Advisory practice at MNP and Labour Relations consulting for the BC Social Services sector. Michael has passion for challenging the status quo, building innovative solutions to big problems and aligning people strategy to business strategy. When not in the office Michael can be found enjoying the best of BC either mountain biking, skiing or golfing all around this beautiful province.
