Amy never planned to be an HR professional of any type, let alone a Total Rewards professional. After she graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo though, she happened to land a role doing HRIS reporting with Sun Life. From there she moved into Compensation and the rest, as they say, is history. Her 20+ year career in HR has involved roles in big and small companies, growth and decline, acquiring and being acquired, and both domestic and international work. She considers herself a true Total Rewards professional having worked in all aspects of compensation (including exec comp, equity, and sales comp), benefits, mobility and more. These days she is crafting a bright new rewards future from her home in Ontario to enable Benevity to attract and retain the best and the brightest for its moonshot of infusing more goodness in the world.
