At Simon Fraser University, Clayton manages a career mentorship program for business students and alumni. He is the emcee for the annual MISA BC fall conference and volunteers on the board of directors for a recreational curling league. 

Clayton has 22 years of experience in customer service, marketing, communications and event planning for a variety of organizations including a professional association, luxury train experience, resort hotel and theatre company.  Clayton holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of Guelph.
