Martina Valkovicova helps people and organizations keep pace with changing work. She leads Professional Growth (ProG) at the UBC Sauder School of Business, a unit dedicated to helping individuals and organizations grow through every stage of their professional journey. Her approach is grounded in the insight that “the illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn” popularized by Alvin Toffler.
Martina brings more than 25 years of international experience across business, education and the public sector. Before leading Professional Growth, she spent nearly a decade as Assistant Dean of the Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre at UBC Sauder, working closely with both students and employers.
She is passionate about creating learning experiences and connections that are practical, transformative and deeply human.
